“So, what exactly is the plan, Boss?” King asked, a much more relaxed VP after a good night’s sleep.

Silver’s chin rested on his hand as he paced the room we talked in. It had been two days since I’d been shot, and I was now more determined than ever to get out there and find the bitch, Tiffany. I had moved past the pain of being shot, and now I was just plain fucking pissed. As much as I respected women, in all forms, this cunt needed to die, and she would, by my hand. Although I knew Silver would have a lot to say about that.

“TBone,” Silver questioned, turning to me. “How much do you think Viper would be willing to help us out should we compensate them decently?”

It was a fair question and one I already knew the answer to.

“Considering Tiffany is helping out Viper’s father, who he’s been trying to kill for years, I would say quite happily.”

Silver nodded, taking in my words. I could see the smoke coming out of his ears as his plan formed. I wanted to ask him what he was thinking, but everyone knew you didn’t rush Silver. He would let us know when the time was appropriate. Well, I thought everyone knew until King opened up his big mouth.

“So, I ask again. What is the plan, Boss?”

Silver turned and glared at King.

“I’m only going to say this once, King. I will let you know when I figure it out. I understand you’re going through a lot with Queenie at the moment, but don’t you forget your place is here by my side. Clear your fucking mind and get back on board before I send your ass home. Got me?”

The mixture of anger, hurt, and embarrassment filtered through King’s eyes before he finally nodded. I knew deep down in my heart that Queenie wasn’t his only issue. Trying to fill the shoes of Chrome, our previous VP, was not an easy thing to do, and even worse, Silver was the VP prior to that. King was a good man, but his pride meant everything to him.

“I’m sorry, Silver,” King gulped, the words coming from his mouth honestly relaying his sincere apologies. I almost felt bad for him.

Almost.

Silver nodded by way of acceptance and kept pacing, thinking his plan out loud.

“So, we know that Tiffany has two guys with her. We know that these two guys work for Mr. Darcy, Viper’s dad, and we know that they know we are here.”

King and I nodded and waited for him to finish.

“What we don’t know is where she’s bunkering down, who else might be with her, and what kind of ammunition she’s packing. It also makes me nervous that she’s working with someone like Mr. Darcy. If she’s valuable to him in any way, we could be facing retribution that I don’t know if the Bastards are able to handle.”

“What about calling in some other chapters?” I asked, unsure of the politics of it.
